About TabletopXtra: Our Range, Designers and Print-on-Demand Process

TabletopXtra is a UK print-on-demand store selling 3D-printed resin and FDM miniatures from 21 licensed independent designers. Every model is printed to order at our UK facility and dispatched direct. The range covers fantasy, sci-fi, Trench Crusade, anime and display sculpts from a single UK source.

Who is TabletopXtra?

We're a UK tabletop hobby business. Our catalogue comes from 21 licensed sculptors and studios, each authorised to produce and sell their files commercially. Every model you order is a legitimate, authorised print.

Print-on-demand is different from buying a box off a shelf. There is no pre-printed stock. When you place an order, the model file goes to our printer in the UK, gets produced, cleaned, cured and packed, then posted directly to you. Our full catalogue stays permanently available as a result: a themed set released two years ago by Galaad Miniatures is just as accessible as something added this week. Nothing sells out.

Which designers does TabletopXtra licence?

We stock 21 independent designers covering fantasy, sci-fi, grimdark, anime, pin-up and display genres. The eight designers with the widest on-site range:

What scales and materials does TabletopXtra offer?

Character miniatures are available across five scales. Most come in SLA resin, which gives the fine surface detail these sculpts need. Terrain and scenery are typically FDM plastic, which holds up better to repeated tabletop use than resin for large flat-surface pieces.

Scale Typical use Material Starting price
28/32mm Standard tabletop: D&D, Pathfinder, Warhammer proxies, Trench Crusade SLA resin From £6.29 per mini
35mm Heroic scale, slightly larger than standard; popular for premium D&D SLA resin From £6.99
40mm Larger characters, bosses, monsters, centrepieces SLA resin From £7.99
54mm Display and collector pieces SLA resin From £9.99
75mm Showcase display models for detailed painting projects SLA resin From £16.99
Terrain (varies) Scenery, ruins, bunkers and wrecks for 28/32mm play FDM plastic or SLA resin From £14.99

Full monthly release sets, where all the models in a designer's themed drop are bundled together, run from around £20 to £80 depending on the designer, scale and model count. Artisan Guild releases, for example, bundle infantry, cavalry and monster sculpts into a single themed set, available as the full bundle or as individual sub-sets.

What game systems suit print-on-demand miniatures from TabletopXtra?

Our range covers most popular tabletop systems:

  • D&D and Pathfinder: the largest slice of the catalogue. Artisan Guild, Galaad Miniatures, Bite the Bullet, Printed Obsession and several others produce RPG characters, creatures and dungeon terrain at 28/32mm and above.
  • Warhammer 40,000 proxies: DakkaDakka.Store, Grey Tide Studio and DMG Minis produce sci-fi squads, vehicles and conversion bits that work alongside official GW models without the GW price tag.
  • Trench Crusade: Diceverse's dedicated terrain range, including the Drowned Front Shipwrecks, Ruined City House Sets and Craters, provides tabletop-ready Trench Crusade battlefield scenery. Bite the Bullet's Ashen Armies range covers the warbands.
  • Blood Bowl alt leagues: RN Estudio's Mythbowl range covers a spread of Blood Bowl-compatible alternative teams.
  • Display painting: Gaz Minis, Torrida Minis and Ronin Arts Workshop produce character and pin-up sculpts from 28/32mm through to 75mm. The larger scales give more surface to work with for detailed display pieces.

Frequently asked questions about TabletopXtra

Where is TabletopXtra based?
TabletopXtra is a UK business. Orders are produced and dispatched from within the UK: no EU import duty, no international shipping wait.
Are TabletopXtra miniatures supplied painted?
No. All miniatures arrive unpainted in bare resin or FDM plastic, ready for priming and painting. You choose the colours, the basing, the finish.
Are all the designers licensed?
Yes. All 21 designers in our catalogue are licensed. We're authorised to produce and sell their files commercially. We don't stock or produce unlicensed prints.
What is the difference between 28mm and 32mm at TabletopXtra?
We list these together as "28/32mm" because both refer to the same standard tabletop footprint. The slight variation comes from different manufacturers historically sizing figures slightly differently. Our 28/32mm prints sit alongside most existing miniature ranges without a visible mismatch.
Can I order terrain and miniatures in the same order?
Yes. Terrain and miniatures ship together. Our terrain range, including FDM-printed Diceverse scenery and resin centrepieces, is sized for 28/32mm play and covers several genres and settings.
