AK Interactive Gouaches Sand 20ml. (AKG03)

Sand is AK's gouache for desert theatres — a warm, dusty tan that settles into wheels, tracks and lower hulls the way real sand actually does. It's water-based and matt, so it can be thinned for a light dusty haze over a whole model or built up thicker where sand genuinely piles up.

• Desert vehicle liveries and camo schemes
• Sand-caked wheels, tracks and boots
• Dune basing and beach dioramas

Work outward from where sand would realistically gather — wheel arches, boot soles, the base of the model — rather than an even coat, and it reads far more convincingly.
