New from Twin Goddess Miniatures: Barbarian Bimbo — Resin D&D Barbarians
Every D&D party worth its salt needs a barbarian, and Twin Goddess Miniatures have just handed us two of the most characterful we've stocked in a while. The Barbarian Bimbo miniatures set is the newest monthly drop from this husband-and-wife studio's Oaken Hollow Heroes line, and it pairs a battle-hardened warrior-woman with a gloriously over-the-top "dad" barbarian. We've added the full set to the store as made-to-order resin prints, available in everything from gaming scale right up to display size, so you can grab a tabletop trio or a showpiece centrepiece from the same listing.
What's in the Barbarian Bimbo set
The Barbarian Bimbo miniatures release is a five-model set built around two named characters, each supplied in multiple sculpted poses so you're not stuck with a single static option. You get Thitania the Beheader in two poses and Thornan the Dadbarian in three, which gives you enough variety to field a small warband, kit out both a hero and a rival, or simply pick the pose that best matches the character in your head. The Full Set (5) starts at just £18.99 in 28/32mm, with 35mm at £20.99 and 40mm at £24.99; if you'd rather cherry-pick, every model is also sold individually from £6.49. We print this one to order in grey resin, cleaned, cured and prepped before it ships.
Two characters, two roles at the table
Thitania the Beheader is exactly what her name promises: a greataxe-swinging frontliner with all the menace you want from a barbarian player character or an NPC raider boss. The two poses make it easy to run her as a duelling hero in one game and a looming villain in the next. Thornan the Dadbarian is the set's heart and humour, a grizzled veteran with serious "I'm not angry, I'm disappointed" energy, perfect as a retired mentor, a tavern regular with a past, or a comic-relief companion who still hits like a freight train. With three poses to choose from, he's a brilliant little storytelling hook for any game master building out a campaign cast.
Picking a scale and getting them painted
Because we print on demand, you choose the size that suits the job. For ranked-up tabletop play, 28/32mm keeps these barbarians in proportion with the rest of your party; bump up to 35mm or 40mm if you like a chunkier, more detailed model, or go all the way to 54mm and 75mm for a display piece you'll actually want to take your time over. If you're new to working with resin or weighing up which size to commit to, our heroic scale buyer's guide walks through the differences and which scale tends to suit which kind of project. The models arrive unpainted in grey resin, ready for priming, and a barbarian's natural tones of leather, fur and weathered steel make this a forgiving, rewarding paint job for beginners and a real character study for experienced painters.
How to get the Barbarian Bimbo set
You can pick up the full release on its Barbarian Bimbo product page, choosing the Full Set or any single character in the scale you need. It's part of the wider Twin Goddess Miniatures collection we stock, which is well worth a browse if you like characterful, story-driven sculpts. The studio has been releasing a themed batch of models every month since 2020, and you can see the full back catalogue and what's coming next over on Twin Goddess Miniatures' own site and their MyMiniFactory profile. Everything we list is printed to order under licence, so if you'd like a model in a scale or quantity that isn't shown, just start a custom order and we'll sort it for you. Add a barbarian or two to your party and let us know how they paint up.
