Virtual Protagonist 3D printed resin miniatures by Bite the Bullet, available at TabletopXtra UK

New from Bite the Bullet: Virtual Protagonist — Game-Hero Miniatures for Your Tabletop

There's a particular thrill in unboxing a fresh monthly drop, and this month Bite the Bullet have delivered one that should make any role-player or skirmish gamer grin. Their newest Full Set, Virtual Protagonist, lands a squad of game-hero archetypes onto the tabletop — and as ever, every model is printed to order right here in the UK. If you've been chasing that “main character” energy for your party or warband, this is the release to watch.

What is the Virtual Protagonist set?

Virtual Protagonist is the latest in Bite the Bullet's run of gamer- and adventure-themed collections, sitting alongside earlier drops like Gamer Avatar and Gate Adventure. The theme leans into the look and feel of video-game and isekai heroes — the kind of larger-than-life protagonists you'd expect to headline an RPG. It's a fantasy-flavoured set with plenty of crossover appeal, and you can browse the whole release on our Virtual Protagonist product page.

Standout models in the range

The set's character line-up shows off Bite the Bullet's knack for distinct, instantly readable silhouettes. Among the models on offer you'll find pieces like the White Lioness, the spectral Pale Rider, an armoured Spartan Ghost, a wonderfully odd Space Turtle, and the dramatic One-Winged hero. Each leans into a recognisable hero or anti-hero trope, which makes them brilliant centrepieces — the sort of mini that becomes your character for a whole campaign. Because the designs vary so much in mood, you can cherry-pick a single figure or collect the lot for a themed display shelf.

What games does it suit?

Printed at 28/32mm compatible scale (roughly 1/57), these models drop straight into the systems most of our customers play. They make natural fits as player-character minis for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and other 5e-style campaigns, and the more striking sculpts work a treat as named NPCs, rivals or boss encounters. If you run narrative skirmish games, several of these would headline a small warband nicely. And for painters, the bold character designs give you a proper canvas — plenty of surface detail to reward freehand, glazing and a bit of object-source lighting.

Why buy from TabletopXtra?

Everything we stock is print-on-demand resin, produced under licence from the designer and made fresh when you order. Each miniature is cleaned, prepped and cured before it's posted, and the set is priced flexibly: single characters from £6.29, up to £56.99 for the complete bundle, so you can build the collection at your own pace. Models typically arrive in grey resin, unpainted and ready for priming. If you're new to prepping resin prints, it's worth a quick read of our resin vs FDM buyer's guide before you start.
