Driders, Harpys and Golems by Galaad Miniatures: Classic D&D Monster Minis in 28mm Resin
Three very different monster types in one sculpted range. That is the appeal of Galaad Miniatures' Driders, Harpys and Golems set, and it is one that rarely gets the attention it deserves. Each creature type has its own visual language and encounter role, while all sharing the same 28/32mm scale and Galaad's clean, resin-ready sculpting. We stock the full range at TabletopXtra: individual miniatures, creature small sets and the complete bundle.
What's in the Driders, Harpys and Golems Range?
The Full Set at £42.99 brings together nine sculpts across the three creature types. You can also buy each type as a small set or pick individual sculpts. DMs who need just one Drider for a specific encounter can order a single sculpt for £8.99; those building out a full Underdark campaign can grab all three together for £18.99.
The range was part of Galaad's July 2023 monthly output, now sitting in their back-catalogue of themed 28/32mm RPG releases, most pre-supported for resin printing. Galaad works to a monthly release cadence, and this set shows the kind of multi-creature approach they take when building out a broader encounter toolkit rather than focusing on a single species.
The Driders — Spider-Hybrid Horrors of the Underdark
Driders are a D&D staple: drow transformed into spider-centaur hybrids by their deity Lolth, carrying the armoured upper body of a dark elf on the abdomen of a large spider. Galaad has sculpted three variants at £8.99 each, with active poses and surface detail on the webbing and armour plates that takes paint well.
In D&D 5e they sit at Challenge Rating 6, sturdy enough to threaten a mid-level party and characterful enough to stand out from generic dungeon fodder. They work equally well as heavy infantry in skirmish games or as focal pieces in an Underdark diorama, and the three distinct poses mean a multi-Drider encounter does not look staged.
The Drider Miniatures Small Set bundles all three for £18.99 if you want a full patrol without ordering individually.
The Harpies — Three Poses, One Aerial Threat
The three Harpy sculpts (A, B and C, £6.99 each) lean into the predatory-bird aesthetic: swept wings, grasping talons, and poses that read as mid-swoop or lunging. They share enough design DNA to look like a coherent flock while remaining distinct enough that three on the table at once do not look like copies of the same model.
For aerial encounter design, that distinction matters. When a group of harpies descends from different angles, each needs its own silhouette or the encounter looks flat on the board. At 28/32mm they scale naturally with humanoid miniatures and suit any classic fantasy setting from D&D to Pathfinder.
The Harpy Miniatures Small Set at £14.99 gets you all three. Individual Harpies are available at £6.99 each if you only need one or two for a specific scene.
The Golems — Constructs with Boss-Tier Presence
The Golem sculpts shift the register of this range. Where the Driders and Harpies are organic and predatory, Golems A, B and C (£8.99 each) are blocky and deliberately imposing. They look built rather than born, which is exactly the presence you want from a magical construct. Stone textures take dry-brushing well, and the surface detail gives brushwork something to grip without demanding advanced technique.
Uses run wider than the name suggests: CR 10 stone or iron golems in D&D 5e, clockwork guardians in a homebrew dungeon, animated statues protecting a vault, or constructs in a high-fantasy skirmish setting. The silhouette and scale make them natural choices for a boss encounter or a late-session reveal. The Golems are not available as a Small Set, so individual orders at £8.99 are the way to go unless you are picking up the full bundle.
